Road/Tri Conversion FitForPower

Currently have a road bike and don’t want, or have the budget for a Tri bike?

The Lab specializes in road to tri bike conversions. We’ll discuss cost savings, speed gains along with other advantages and disadvantaged. We also assist and recommend necessary components to make the conversion, taking your budget into consideration.

This session is really a two bike fit session. We verify, adjust and record your road bike position then modify it into a tri specific bike. Your tri fit will be optimized and recorded. You will then have the ability to switch between the two different riding positions/styles (road or tri) any time you wish.

Already converted your bike and just need a fit? See our Gold, Silver or Bronze fit options.

Cost: $315, includes follow-up session, as needed. Components/Parts extra.

Time: 5 to 6 hours, could be a bit more or less.

Generally a conversion will require a fast forward seat post, a shorter / different angle stem and clip on aero bars. The Lab can supply stem and seat post, make note of necessary items for you to purchase separately after your fit session or you may bring components to your fit session. See customer to supply information below.

As for clip-on aero bars, the Lab can assist in clip-on aero bar selection, customer to bring to fit session. The Lab can offer select Vision and Profile Design aero bars for purchase.
