What is Folmer Technology
The quick answer: Folmer Technology stands for "real life" based research and improving products on the market that we believe need improvement. We found such a need with overpriced ceramic bearings, which is why we created Folmer Technology Bearings. You will not see fancy words or hype used to try and influence consumers on the quality of our products, because the outstanding performance of our entire product line speaks for itself. All products are tested in the Elite level by athletes, for athletes, and only products that have passed our high quality standards are promoted and sold.

Hawk Racing™ and Folmer BMX Products such as wheels, hubs, and crank sets are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase from an authorized Hawk Racing™ Inc. dealer. This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser ("you") and does not transfer to subsequent owners.
All Hawk Racing™ bottom brackets and derailleur pulleys are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase from an authorized Hawk Racing™ Inc. dealer. This warranty however, can be extended to two (2) years if you, the original purchaser, register the product within 30 days of original purchase on our website.
Hawk Racing™ custom clothing warranty is not covered in this warranty policy. Please visit www.hr-sportswear.com for warranty information on custom clothing and products made by Hawk Racing™.
If your product packaging has a written warranty policy included that differs from the warranty policy posed on our website (www.hawk-racing.com), the warranty policy on our website is considered most current and will be controlling as of the time your warranty claim is made.

If you are comfortable riding a 50mm tubular wheel set instead of a clincher, you will make a great choice by using our light weight tubular version. If you are under 225 lbs you may check out our V55 version as well that has been Wind tunnel tested and uses a wider rim profile.
Regardless which wheel set you will pick from Hawk Racing you will be more than pleased with high performance, light weight and stiffness.
